About Brian
Dr. Brian Boucher was born and raised in West Chester, PA, and is a graduate of Bucknell University. He obtained his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his residency training in family practice at Abington Memorial Hospital in Jenkintown, PA. In 2018 and 2024, he was named one of the Top Doctors by MainLine Today magazine.
Dr. Boucher joined PentaHealth Family Practice West Chester in September 2022 after 19 years with PentaHealth Colonial Family Practice in Coatesville. He has a special interest in sports medicine, joint injections, and dermatology.
He resides in West Chester with his wife and three children, and enjoys ice hockey, golf, and playing his acoustic guitar.
About Charles
Dr. Charles P. Catania is board-certified in family medicine and hospice medicine. He received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, trained in England, and completed his residency at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, New Jersey, where he was named chief resident in 2009 and served on the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians Board of Directors as the resident delegate.
Dr. Catania has been in private practice since 2010 and is currently the medical director for PentaHealth, where he also serves on the board of directors. In addition, he serves on the Tandigm Physician Services Board of Directors. Over the course of his career, Dr. Catania has received multiple recognitions, including:
– Top Doc awards from Main Line Today and Suburban Life (multiple years)
– The Top Quality Provider Award from Independence Blue Cross
– The UnitedHealthcare Hero Award
His clinical interests include pediatrics, with an emphasis on genetics from his prior experience at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. As well as minor dermatological procedures, diabetes, and adolescent medicine.
Deeply engaged in his community, Dr. Catania is excited to serve as part of the SEDLCO school physician staff and now at the West Chester Rehab Facility. He also coaches baseball and hockey, staying actively involved with local youth programs.
Dr. Catania treasures time with his wife, Kimberly, and their three children—Jack, Joseph, and Anthony. He takes pride in providing a personal and compassionate approach to patient care, extending that same dedication to his family and community.
About John
Dr. Hornick, board-certified in family practice, joined PentaHealth, formerly Gateway Myers, Squire & Limpert, in August 2010. A veteran of the United States Navy and an honors graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Dr. Hornick earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2007. Dr. Hornick completed the Lancaster General Family Medicine Residency program in July 2010.
Dr. Hornick is married and resides in West Chester.
About Sissy
Dr. John completed her pre-medical studies at the University of Szeged in Hungary, followed by medical school at the Medical University of Lublin in Lublin, Poland. Dr. John further honed her skills and expertise by completing her residency at the Montgomery Family Practice in Norristown, PA.
Throughout her educational journey and residency, Dr. John has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for providing quality patient care. Her dedication to patient well-being aligns seamlessly with our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community!
About Sony
Dr. John studied at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where he received his undergraduate degree. He later attended medical school at the Medical University of Silesia, Poland. He completed his residency at Drexel Family Medicine and received his master’s degree in health care administration from St. Joseph’s University. Dr. John has been a board-certified family physician for the past 10 years. He also received his fellowship from the American Academy of Family Physicians.
As a family physician, he enjoys the opportunity to build a relationship with the patient and their families. Taking care of sports-related injuries is one of his special interests.
Dr. John is married with 2 children. When he is not seeing patients, he likes to watch the Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers, play ultimate frisbee and basketball, and, of course, spend time with his family.
About Madeline
Madeline Wood, MD, graduated 1st in her class of 250 from Jefferson Medical College in 1989. After graduation, she completed a family medicine residency program at the Christiana Care Center (The Medical Center of Delaware, Christiana Hospital, and A.I. Dupont Hospital).
Dr. Wood is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She has been in practice since 1992, formerly in Delaware County with Dr. William Carroll.
Dr. Wood also works at various sites of the Devereux Foundation, providing medical care for children, adolescents, and adults with both physical and mental disabilities. Pediatrics, women’s health issues, and preventative medicine are among her special interests. She recognizes the importance of treating the whole family and being a part of the growth and change of each member.
She is married with one daughter.
About Hubert
Dr. Hubert Wu obtained his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his residency at Penn State Health – St. Joseph Medical Center in Family and Community Medicine, where he was elected as chief resident during his 3rd year. Dr. Wu has worked as an attending hospitalist on medical/surgical/ICU floors as well as an outpatient primary care provider in a hybrid role, valuing the traditional approach to family medicine in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Wu’s interests span the entire spectrum of primary care. He strives to promote patients’ health with a collaborative and accountable approach. He prides himself on finding ways to individualize his care with each one of his patients.
He enjoys spending time with family, which includes his three children (and all the chaos that entails) and wife.
About Leilani
Leilani earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Widener University in 2002. After graduation, she commissioned into the US Army to become an Army Nurse Corps Officer and deployed twice overseas. After spending five years in the military, she obtained a Master of Public Health at the University of Texas at El Paso and worked in public health for several years. Despite her love for public health, she felt drawn back to the clinical world and returned to school at George Washington University to become a family nurse practitioner. While in school, she was named a 2017 Pat Tillman Scholar and Jonas Blaustein Scholar.
Leilani has a special interest in sexual health, mental health, and providing inclusive primary care to individuals of all genders and sexual identities. She is especially passionate about integrating gender affirming care and evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder into her practice. She practices trauma-informed care and believes primary care can be a safe, comprehensive space where patients can address both physical and mental health needs without judgment.
In her free time, Leilani is cheering for her kids on the sidelines, potty training her puppy gifted from her husband, and spending time with her family.
About Peyton
Peyton earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from La Salle University in 2020. She started her career as an RN in the Surgical Trauma ICU with Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Her pursuit of a Master of Science in Nursing began with her undergraduate alma mater in August 2021. The academic program concentration was family nurse practitioner, so Peyton transitioned from acute care to primary care when she came to work for PentaHealth in December 2021. She worked as a full-time RN while participating in La Salle University’s MSN program. Peyton completed the MSN program in December 2024.
Peyton is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys listening to patients, teaching them about their health, and cultivating lasting patient relationships. She values the ability to care for the whole family when all are patients of the Family Practice. Peyton has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults.
When she is not seeing patients, one of Peyton’s favorite things to do is walk the dog with her husband and have a morning coffee in hand. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling, but most importantly, she cherishes spending time with her family.
About Anita
Anita joined PentaHealth (formerly Gateway Medical Associates) in December 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from Neumann College (now University) and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2004 from the University of Delaware.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Delaware County, as a radiologic technologist and ultrasonographer. She continued her education while working and raising her children, pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing. As an RN, she worked most of her career on a cardiac step-down unit and medical ICU.
Anita enjoys working in family practice, with a special interest in adolescence and women’s health. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, but especially the time she and her husband can spend with their grandchildren.
About Sue
After completing her BSN in Nursing at the University of Rochester, Sue Villarini received her master’s degree as a primary care nurse practitioner in 1983 from the University of Pennsylvania. She is board-certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Association. She has been an integral part of PentaHealth Family Practice West Chester, formerly Gateway Medical Associates, since 1996.
Her special interests include women’s health and diabetes education.
She is a native of West Chester, where she resides with her husband. She has two grown children and a grandson.
