Dr. Stephen F. Belfiglio grew up in Springfield, Delaware County and is a longstanding resident in Edgmont, Delaware County. After graduating from Springfield High School, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Bucknell University and earned a Master of Science degree from Drexel University. He was a science teacher for several years and then went on to complete his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his post-graduate training at the PCOM Medical Hospital.
Dr. Belfiglio is Board Certified in General Practice and has practiced medicine in Exton and Marshalltown for most of his professional career. Being a family doctor affords him the opportunity to treat the entire family and patients of all ages.
He enjoys spending time with his four grown children and their families, especially his time with his grandchildren.
Dr. Valerie McAuley was born and raised in Telford, Pa. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Maryland College in Westminster, MD and became a Research & Development Chemist after graduation. She started working on her masters in clinical sciences when she was admitted to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. There she earned her medical degree and was awarded the Angus Gordon Cathie Scholarship for excellence in Anatomy. Dr. McAuley completed her training with Bryn Mawr Family Practice in Bryn Mawr, PA. During her residency, she was involved in many programs, including the US Prevention Services Task Force for Tobacco Use in Children & Adolescents. She was selected as Chief Resident in her final year and received an award for her commitment and dedication to geriatric medicine.
Dr. McAuley joined PentaHealth Family Practice Exton (formerly Family Practice Associates of Exton & Marshallton) in October 2003, where her dermatologic and simple surgical skills complemented the practice’s already multidisciplinary approach. She has special interests in preventive medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and women’s health. Dr. McAuley is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. McAuley lives in Downingtown with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, going to the beach, and singing with her church and community.
Dr. Michael McGuire received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The Catholic University of America. He worked as high school chemistry teacher for several years. He went to medical school at Howard University School of Medicine and did a residency in Family Medicine at Saint Margaret Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He has practiced at PentaHealth Family Practice Exton (formerly Family Practice Associates of Exton & Marshallton) for the past twenty-eight years. He enjoys seeing family members from across multiple generations. He has a special interest in special need patients.
Dr. McGuire lives in West Chester with his wife. He has four children and two grandchildren so far. He enjoys running in spare time.
Elizabeth Facciolo received her post master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2001 from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. She received her MSN in 1999 as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from Villanova University. She has been a Registered Nurse since 1985.
Elizabeth is an Adjunct Professor in the Nurse Practitioner Program at Villanova University. She is on the Board of Directors at the West Chester Area Senior Center in West Chester, PA. She grew up in Delaware County and resides in Chester Springs. She is committed to giving back to her community, enjoys cooking, entertaining and traveling.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Messiah University in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 2012. As an RN, Sarah worked at Lankenau Medical Center in adult telemetry and oncology nursing. During her time there, she became a Clinical Nurse Educator, supporting and training nursing staff. Sarah maintains a presence at Lankenau Medical Center and facilitates multidisciplinary rounds for staff with the goal to reduce caregiver fatigue and increase collaboration across disciplines.
Sarah began her role at as a Nurse Practitioner at PentaHealth Family Practice Exton (formerly Family Practice Associates of Exton & Marshallton) in 2013 and enjoys caring for her patients across the lifespan. Sarah lives in Downingtown, PA with her husband and two sons. She loves to travel with her family. In her free time, Sarah can be found walking their giant Alaskan Malamute dog all over Chester County or cheering at her sons’ sporting events.
