About Amy

Amy Knickerbocker graduated with her BS Nursing degree in 2012 from the Sage Colleges in Troy, New York, and had worked in Women’s Health as a registered nurse for 5 years. During that time, she had also been going to school for her master’s degree. Amy received her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at the Sage Colleges in 2017. She spent several years working as a Nurse Practitioner in Endocrinology in Rochester, New York where she saw patients in the hospital and outpatient locations.
Amy is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioner, Endocrinology Society, Rochester Area Diabetes Educators, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Helping people improve their quality of life is her passion. Amy’s passion for healthcare is rooted in its ability to help people lead more fulfilling lives. She believes when an individual is mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy, they can pursue their goals and become their best selves. Her interests include the maintenance of patients with various endocrine disorders.
Amy is an avid reader and likes to cuddle up with her two cats at home. She also enjoys hiking, gardening, and baking.
