PentaHealth Today is back to help serve all your medical needs, with no appointments or provider referrals necessary. Visits can range from urgent care to sports physicals (no restrictions on what is seen unless medically inappropriate). This is open to all patients and new patients are welcome!
PentaHealth Today is offered every Sunday from 1pm – 4pm* at our Downingtown office location: 142 Wallace Avenue, Suite 201, Downingtown, PA 19335 (may vary due to weather or holidays).

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Neeraja Peri to PentaHealth! She is now seeing patients in our Downingtown office.
Dr. Peri grew up on the Delaware beaches. She completed her undergraduate degree at The George Washington University and her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College. She did her residency in Family Medicine at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and is board-certified in family medicine.
She loves being a family doctor, as it affords her the opportunity to treat whole families from newborns on up.
She has special interests in women’s health and pediatrics.
Dr. Peri now lives in Chester County with her husband and infant son as well as her dog and two cats.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Monika Kumanova to PentaHealth! She is now seeing patients at our Colonial Family Practice location.
Dr. Kumanova is a Board-Certified Physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has ten years of experience managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions in primary care. Her focus is on adult medicine with an interest in women’s health and lifestyle medicine.
Before joining Colonial Family Practice of PentaHealth, she worked as a Physician at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and Tower Health. She has provided health care to veterans while at the VAMC.
Dr. Kumanova received her degree from the Medical University of Sofia – Bulgaria. She also has a degree in chemical engineering. Coming to the United States, she initially worked at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and contributed to stem cell and cancer research. She completed her Family Medicine Residency training in New York at the Bronx – Lebanon Hospital Center.
Dr. Kumanova is passionate about primary care. She believes that many chronic medical conditions are preventable. Her goal is to help her patients achieve optimal health through disease prevention by adhering to a healthy and balanced lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, and mental health.
Doctor Kumanova lives with her husband in the beautiful Chester County and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves traveling, arts, music, reading, and staying active. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, American Medical Association, and American Obesity Association.
It is an exciting time at Gateway Medical Associates as we join a newly founded medical group, PentaHealth.
In the future, our patients will begin seeing the PentaHealth name appearing alongside our logo, on office documents and more. This change marks a new era for Gateway as we look to grow our network of physicians and partners.
What won’t change are the doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and staff that make our medical group one of the most trusted in the region. Our office locations and hours will stay the same as well.
As a PentaHealth practice, we will remain an independent medical group that’s both physician-run and physician-owned, as Gateway has for the past 24 years. Our commitment will be to continue delivering high quality health care to our patients.
