Welcome Dr. Eric Yeh
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Eric Yeh as a new physician at PentaHealth Primary Care Downingtown! He started on 2/12/2024 and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Eric Yeh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. He attended the University of Texas from 2004 to 2008, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, after which he worked as a medical researcher.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Yeh later attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He graduated in 2014.
He completed his residency at Drexel University / Hahnemann University hospital in 2017 where he served as chief resident and was chosen for an award in clinical excellence.
Before joining us at Primary Care Downingtown, Dr. Yeh served the community in both Norristown and Phoenixville.
Welcome Dr. Sissy John
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sissy John! She started at PentaHealth Family Practice West Chester on 2/1/2024! She is accepting new patients.
Dr. John completed her pre-medical studies at the University of Szeged in Hungary, followed by medical school at the Medical University of Lublin in Lublin, Poland. Dr. John further honed her skills and expertise by completing her residency at the Montgomery Family Practice in Norristown, PA.
Throughout her educational journey and residency, Dr. John has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for providing quality patient care. Her dedication to patient well-being aligns seamlessly with our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community!
Welcome Carrie Karhnak-Glasby, CRNP
Please welcome Carrie Karhnak-Glasby, CRNP as a new medical provider for PentaHealth at Mt. Airy Family Practice. She joined this practice in 2015 as a registered nurse, and we are excited to see her take on this new role!
Carrie Karhnak-Glasby earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in 2014 and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2023. She is accepting new patients of all ages with a focus on preventative care and promoting healthy habits, especially for patients with chronic conditions.
Outside of the office, you can find Carrie Karhnak-Glasby baking, discussing Octavia Butler novels and musical theatre, and cheering on her daughter’s volleyball team!

Community Garden Dedication
Recently PentaHealth, The Chester County Food Bank, and Hillsdale Elementary School in the West Chester Area school district partnered in supporting the building and in maintaining a large, beautiful community garden. The Garden is located behind Hillsdale school, and it is in very close proximity to the outdoor classroom. It has been a great educational resource for the children as a learning tool and for the community as a source for fresh produce.
The Garden is run by very dedicated volunteers, teachers, and students, and supported by the school’s PTO. PentaHealth has been a financial beneficiary of the Hillsdale Community Garden through the PTO since its inception. Since the Garden has been created more than 800 lbs. of food was able to be delivered to the Chester County Food Bank in the 2022 growing season. In 2023 with continued support the Garden will have 3 growing seasons with hopes of a larger amount of food supplied to the Chester County Food Bank. The plants and seedlings are supplied by Chester County Food Bank.
This effort is to ensure the children at Hillsdale Elementary continue to learn the importance of growing and eating healthy food as well as providing an incredible resource to their community. PentaHealth loves being able to support and be part of this community!
